If a DVR, remember they've had a bed design change. Not sure how it would
affect centerline or overall height of headstock.

According to the spec, it shouldn't matter as both remain with the same dimensions.

Thanks George and Tony, as best as I have been able to tell there is
little difference (physically) between the DVR and the DVR-XP, it does
sound like they changed how the extension attaches though.
