you're subscribed to than to find some other group, subscribe to it, post
your oneword message, then keep going back to it just to see it your
oneword post has arrived rather than going to the ng you would be going to
anyway, even if you doubted your ability to post there, which is why you
posted the test; and in any case, you want to test the channel of interest,
not another one.

Well if you use alt.test or uk.test etc,. (funnily enough ..which is
where tests are supposed to be posted) you get an auto,email response, so
you don't have to subscribe to any new group to see if it arrived.
