Sealing a bath up against tiles
What is the best technique for creating a good watertight seal between the
bath edge and the tiles, I have seen some right botch jobs in my time, whats the best sealant on the market and how best to apply it. Thanks Richard. |

Thanks Richard. In my opinion, by far the best way is to install the bath against the wall *before* tiling, and then tile down to it. You can, of course, fit all but the lowest row of tiles - held up by a temporary batten - before installing the bath, and then cut the bottom tiles to extend down to the bath *with the bath full of water*.
