yes, but it'll occupy back and front, and probably the drivers seat as
well if you dont restrain it.

Would such a carpet roll fold over OK to fit in the back?

yes. As long as you dont store it folded for days its fine, just for
the journey. Done them that way, just check theyre not lying kinked
when you get them indoors.

And how much would such a piece of carpet weigh?

Quite a lot!

Is it a two-man job to load and unload it?

Its straightforward with 2, but it is doable with one person - though
heavy, large, and an uncooperative pita. If you dont mind a bit of
swearing one'll do.
