There will be no difference - one will simply have an internal power
supply and be bigger.

If you want good 'dark' performance, ignore colour and get an infra-red
sensitive B&W one - with an IR light source it will give excellent results
in the dark and decent in daylight.

If using a TV as a monitor you only need a cam res of 380TVL. Night day cams
are good.

Here's spec for a smaller camera for £150 which includes about 18m cable.
