Fixing plastic hooks to uPVC window frames
I am trying to fit chinese blinds
(http://www.ikea.co.uk/webapp/wcs/sto...y?storeId=7&la ngId=-20&catalogId=10101&productId=10842) to uPVC windows in my house without much success - I want to try and avoid having to use plugs and hooks so initially I bought self adhesive plastic hooks but they were of no use as they wouldnt hold them up and kept coming away from the window frames. I then bought "No more nails" but again its not very effective probably as both surfaces are non porous. My question is, other than using plugs and hooks, can anyone recommend a method of attaching the plastic hooks to the uPVC windows which wont come off and also, importantly, wont "damage" the uPVC frames? BTW the blinds are between 1.2 and 2.6kg in weight Thanks Jason (remove spam trap to reply by email) |
