Default Interior Glass Door Panel installation

Thanks for the good advice.

Will it be ok to use INTUMESCENT ACRYLIC MASTIC, as I have a tube in the
garage?

Can anyone suggest what to use, or any tips on fitting the glass.

Cut all your beads ready and try them then place them handy. Use the
colour of putty to suit the finish. I think you need about a small tub.
Empty it out on a board and mix it with your spatula. The putty settles
out in storage. It needs to be wet without sticking to your skin. Smear
a thin bead on the top row, slap your glass in and fit the top and
bottom beads. Do the same with the next row and so on down the door.

Use very short pins.

You can use acrylic mastic instead of the putty. You don't need much you
are not weather proofing the door, just rattle proofing it.

The side beads can be fit at leisure.

Don't use silicon as it sticks to glass chemically.

You can get a tool for inserting panel pins. However if you want to look
professional, practice with your 20 ounce claw on the top and bottom
beads. Slide the head of the hammer up and down on the glass. Practice
knocking nails into wood while sliding the back of an axe up and down a
beer bottle, then when you have a suitable audience, let them watch you
fit the side beads with a lump hammer or something similarly
nonchalanteable.
