What Ho!

I am trying to make some multisensory stuff (mobiles and dangly things etc)
for my son's bedroom and I was planning on making it from a mix of UV
reactive and non UV reaction acrylic.

However I can't seem to find anywhere on the web that will sell the non-UV
reactive stuff in less than full size sheets. Can anyone make any
suggestions?

Have a look in Yellow Pages under plastics suppliers and also signmakers - the latter often have
offcuts and will cut to size.

There is a place in Erith I've used : http://www.displaydevelopments.co.uk/
not the cheapes,t but very helpful and they have a wide range of stock, including crazy stuff like
inch-thick perspex, if you can afford it! They don't charge for cutting, but round sizes up to
something like a 100mm square ISTR. You can just turn up with a list and they will cut it there &
then - they have several boxes of sample colours, sizes etc.

I think it's the sort of thing you'll need to collect as offcuts from a
sign maker etc. If you post where you are, some might have specific
recommendations. I know a good one in Collier's Wood. ;-)

I'm in Sheffield so Collier's Wood may be a little out of my way. I need to
go past a couple of sign makers this week so I'll just have to call in.
