When you say cladding do you mean on the outside of a building/house and how do you know it is leaking, damp on the interior of the wall? Cladding should have sarking behind it to prevent penetrating damp if that is damaged then the answer is strip the cladding and replace it. If this is a hut or timber building then the answer is the same. For unpainted timber there are a number of water repellent treatments but if painted I would suggest a good sand down and fill before repainting. You really need to explain what this cladding is on and how does the leaking appear and where? Richard |
