There was a young Greta from Sweden
Who wanted a global Garden of Eden. When asked with demur, Why we should listen to her, She replied I can think of no reason. -- People believe certain stories because everyone important tells them, and people tell those stories because everyone important believes them. Indeed, when a conventional wisdom is at its fullest strength, ones agreement with that conventional wisdom becomes almost a litmus test of ones suitability to be taken seriously. Paul Krugman |

That is simply awful verse. It doesn't scan, and it doesn't rhyme. It expresses no worthwhile sentiment. And, apart from that lack of any literary merit whatsoever, global warming is a really serious issue, but some people seem to think it will go away if they attack the messenger. Cheap. |

Global warming is no issue at all. Actually, it is. (There, I started with the word 'actually' so my statement instantly became irrefutable). Greta and her supporters, like all the rent a mob protesters, are the bullies. If you need proof, look at the events in the US where people in the US were attacked for refusing to raise their fists to support the BLM rioters. |

That is the reason the public & press are not more derisive of her message. Take away the age thing & she wouldn't get far. She has exploited a niche more than delivered useful content. |

'Using' one may be considered more underhanded? Although, I have heard she gets no support? Has no external influences? |

Global warming is no issue at all. Not for you certainly, I guess your years on this planets are numbered and you simply don't care or have a very closed mind. The younger generation think differently. |

Only, it's not going away, other than random fluctuations during this glacial period. And, indeed, the earth is without any ice for far longer periods than an ice age.
