That will surely be something for HMRC to decide. After all, they are
currently able to impose duty-free limits on goods from the Canary
Islands precisely because they are not in the EU, even though they are
politically part of Spain. It's hard to see HMRC passing up an
opportinity to gouge even more tax now that the EU is no longer there
to stop them.

and we are out
of the EU so not funding the gravy train. At least on the tunnel etc, the
slick passport checking is to remain.

Even if a few countries want an IDP, it is only a few pounds and the
insurance companies seem to be playing game over green cards, we werent
charged, even for the extra one for the trailer we tow.




It was the EU that stopped duty free sales on ferries
