Default OT: Plan for 10-hour working week with 75% paycut under Labour

Is this for real!? Socialism at its most extreme if it is. Only Stalin
could have come up with anything remotely close.

Don't know but it looks to me that the way automation and AI is making
inroads to jobs, in the end the world may have to have a system where the
companies use no people but give everyone a living wage as a tax otherwise
the system will fall apart. If nobody works or has money who would buy what
is made?

But then are we going to have different payments depending upon
intelligence, talent and qualifications or will it become pointless
making any effort to better yourself?

Yes it would. That's how socialism works.

Of course.

Diane Abbott has done the coatings.

They are just going to tax the ‘rich’ (definition- anyone with more than
they have- they being the dumb voters) and make up the missing money in
benefits.

Everyone will be happy.

Remember other great Socialist ideals like the Khmer Rouge, National
Socialist German Workers' Party........

There are plenty of dopes out there will believe him and vote for him so they can sit on their arses.
Socialists love to sit on their arses and live off of other people.

Votes can be bought.

In some places, the employer is lucky to get 10 hours of work in a week
out of the employees.

It has been since the 1970s anyway.

Future generations will wonder in bemused amazement that the early
twenty-first century’s developed world went into hysterical panic over a
globally average temperature increase of a few tenths of a degree, and,
on the basis of gross exaggerations of highly uncertain computer
projections combined into implausible chains of inference, proceeded to
contemplate a rollback of the industrial age.
