Why do people persist in being so obtuse on the videeos, I cannot see video
and would really appreciate just a one sentence description as to whether its worth using my time and starting it. All so many of them have just been silent or just contained sound effects and people swearing and whooping but little in the way of explanation at all. Belt failure is more major, often trashing the engine. Small engines now have belts that run in the oil to reduce friction. What friction would that be? I'm guessing oil would reduce rubber deterioration by reducing access by oxygen. The power loss of a toothed belt happens in the belt, not something oil would change afaik. NT |
