Don't seem to be able to get hold of grunters in the near of Scotland but I
see them in England everywhere and in America...any idea why ? .....

Well they're made in Coatbridge! Maybe we export them all to England in a reciprocal tariff agreement with Buckfast.

I used planks on 44 gal drums to stand on for the top
half of the walls and so the top course was about face
height with my 8'8: walls, 13 courses.

in the early 90's when I built my detached garage I was looking to use them
but I got gifted a few pallets of engineering brick and facers so I didn't
........
