Low productivity because Thatcher-may she-rot-in-Hell demanded that Britain became a service supplier, and bad management because the managers in her time were inept, knew nothing about Production, and mainly concentrated on their pension pots. Or she had the foresight to see the effect of cheap Far East production facilities and prepared the UK in alternative markets. I guess you would have us all working for Chinese wages? No, that's Mogg. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jacob_Rees-Mogg suggests he entered politics in 1997. Sometime after the 'foresight' we are talking about. Do keep up. "I guess you would have us all working for Chinese wages?" Present tense old bean. And what country did you be learning the englishness in? If it were past tense, like in Maggies day for instance, there would be a "had" in the sentence. And Brexiters try to challenge the idea that they are thick :-) What is truly thick is not understanding if Thatcher didn't have the foresight we would now be on Chinese wages. She created the current UK economy that was opposed by people like you supporting the labour opposition. Bliar came and continued her philosophy. Suggesting that Mogg had anything significant to do with the UK economy is wishful thinking on your part. I can understand the xenophobia, if incoming migrants shamed me in their ability to communicate in my mother tongue, I would probably vote for Brexit too. I can understand someone who has no argument resorting to name calling too. You quite clearly got it wrong as far as language went. I am sorry but I am afraid I do not have much time for political correctness. In this day and age people seem too willing to describe someones shortcomings using terms like dyslexia and the like. This is dressing up a thick ignorant ******* inabilities and does a disservice to the true dyslexic. I do call a spade a spade I'm afraid. I'm afraid as far as you are concerned, if you cannot use or communicate in English, then you should take lessons before scattering your nebulous ramblings around uk.d-i-y. The following is not too good when it comes to past/ present tense in conversational dialogue, but I think you will find it very useful. From memory, the illustrations clarified things nicely for those who were learning English as a second language. https://www.amazon.co.uk/Janet-John-...SIN=1840246154 AB I rememeber those books although I thought they were dark or navy blue I shared one and the desk with an indian kid who I was asked to 'look' after in my class we were all 'given' a friend to look after. I rememeber I wanted to go on to book 33 and he was still on book 32 and we were only allowed one book between us. |
