I'm confused, no change there!
https://assets.publishing.service.go...ctsheet_v3.pdf highlights Boiler Plus 2018 which requires a 92% ErP from April 2018, though it's not clear what ErP is. I have looked and I have failed to find out what ErP means and its significance. The planning portal: https://www.planningportal.co.uk/inf..._and_heating/2 gives a minimum efficiency of 86% for gas. And what is most confusing the database of boiler efficiencies doesn't mention Boiler Plus 2018: http://www.ncm-pcdb.org.uk/sap/page.jsp?id=4 What are the rules about new boiler installations? Have they really changed? |

For info I see EuP means "Energy-using Products". |

Is that not what I said? It is, apologies. Don't blame me if it doesn't make sense :-) I wasn't blaming for anything and appreciate you pointing me in the right direction. It's just strange that a government document would use the term "92% ErP". |

I have looked and I have failed to find out what ErP means and its significance. In that context I think ErP is a reference to the Energy Related Products _methodology_ for turning the performance of a domestic boiler into a single figure. That applied across the EU from the Energy-related Products Directive (also "ErP" for short!) in 2015. -- Robin reply-to address is (intended to be) valid |
