Default Lidl auto laser level.

Just picked up an auto laser level from Lidl, which appears to to exactly
what it claims, and is spot on with the couple of things in this workshop
I know to be level.

I'd say remarkable value at 20 quid.

is it just a cross-laser line, or does it have up/down/left/right laser
dots as well?

Think it is just a cross line - although not really sure what you mean.

I've not heard of one that speaks, just the Bad Obsession one that
"makes the noise" ... i.e. it beeps when it's dead level

Don't seem to be able to access that site - so perhaps you'd explain the
difference/advantage?

I've got a couple of other (old) laser levels where you have to set them
level manually. Rather a fiddle, but still worth it on the odd occasion
I've needed one. This one is an answer to that at a good price.

There is a Caretec Tape King combined talking metal tape, clineometer
and spirit level currently unavailable on Amazon. However, at £100, or
more, elsewhere and the base of the spirit level only being a couple of
inches in length I doubt if there is any accuracy and maybe limited
demand for the product.

The specification for the tape measure says the talking measurement is
within 2mm of the tape indication but no specification is given at all
for the level or clinometer.

The following very short Youtube video shows/describes that the spirit
level beeps rather than talks.

Manual in a pdf format

One of the adverts suggests that the manual is also available on audio
CD in MP3 Daisy format but a Google search doesn't produce an online
version.

Obviously making things level so it doesn’t look odd to visitors
and doesn’t render the place worthless if he needs to move etc.

Why would I have touched your link?

But thanks for making it clear you can't explain what I asked.

Sigh.
So what do you now see on the repaired link?

(That worked fine for me before apparently your end munged it).

He is proving himself to be a tad dishonest, but I wouldn't be so harsh
as to call him a disingenuous ****wit. Perhaps he will persuade me
otherwise if he responds.
