How to prepare cedar for re oiling
Hi All
Last summer I made some outside cupboard doors out of cedar planks. I finished them with Danish Oil and they looked great. A year later they are looking grubby (muck splashed on them etc) and drying out so in need of redoing.. What is the best way to clean / prepare the surface ready for re-oiling? Thanks in advance Lee. |

How to prepare cedar for re oiling
Was a bit fearful of the washer option as the wood is relatively soft. Was wondering if there was any mid detergent or something which I could use which wouldn't impregnate into the wood and conflict with the Danish Oil. Plain water doesn't seem to be enough.
