poly bushes
Anyone here replaced stock rubber bushings with the polyurethane type and
if so, what difference did you notice - if any - in the comfort and handling of the vehicle? |

Less comfort, more vibration & transferred noise, longer lasting bushes so over time less movement /slop. -- Jim K ----Android NewsGroup Reader---- http://usenet.sinaapp.com/ |

It is conventional to replace rubber with stiffer poly, but the stiffeness is not aan inherent feature of polyreuthane Some poly bushes can simply be pretty much identical in performance, just longer lasting. -- The New Left are the people they warned you about. |

Our Volvo V70 has polybushed wishbones - I reckon they make the ride more jittery but 17 inch wheels and low profile tyres don't help. If I could be bothered I'd replace then with OEM but it's a 2005 car and not worth it now. The handling on these cars isn't great anyway. |
