Greetings,
It is I, Claudius, er, Francis. I upgraded my central heating last year with help from the Group. My neighbour got a new boiler and gave me his old one. I was able to salvage parts from it and so should be able to give a new lease of life to ours. When we win the Lotto, we will be able to go for a new super-duper HE condensing system!! Woo hoo!!! In the mean time, I am take the plunge and going to go sealed. I have read Ed's faq and also boiler literature and a heating design guide. I've mislaid my heating guide but it said there has to be a means of topping up the system. One of which was an automatic top-up unit. I located a reference to FLEXCON DOMESTIC AUTOMATIC TOP-UP UNIT but can't find any specs for it. Is this what I need? What are the other options for topping up? FrancisJK |
