This is hardcore DIY

Thought some people might find this bloke's video interesting. He's an american who moved into the sticks (Washington state, rural) and set up a homestead with his missus and son. He's been making videos on youtube for years about everything from remodelling a kitchen to making a treehouse to cutting down trees and milling them into usable lumbar. He does some silly things too, but he's quite open about what was dumb and what worked. I have total respect for this guy - he turns his hand to anything and there are some nice carpentry tricks. |

If you like Cody, go watch Doug Jackson on SV Seeker: https://www.youtube.com/user/submarineboat Now that *is* a "can do" attitude ;-) (He decided to build a 76 foot long junk rigged steel "origami" sail boat from scratch in his garden. Several years in now, and he started with flat steel plate. He has cut it, welded it, machined it, CNCed it, cast it, and done loads more...) -- Cheers, John. /================================================== ===============\ | Internode Ltd - http://www.internode.co.uk | |-----------------------------------------------------------------| | John Rumm - john(at)internode(dot)co(dot)uk | \================================================= ================/ |
