Default Re-certification of Fire, Pub and MIG welding cylinders

Recently the past simple procedure of having MIG welding cylinders refilled has become almost impossible for older cylinders. Does anyone know of any companies who can inspect and recertify for a reasonable charge.

The cylinders I have had re-charged also have been coming back with lower pressures - consequently not lasting so well.

I may have to rent a big bottle.

Any comments? Thanks George.

Not directly, but there is at least one outfit advertising on eBay
offering gas cylinders (full) with no rental element £37 rings a
bell... Snag was you have to collect & return from them (no
shipping).

They may not be convenient but a similar outfit nearer you may
exist? Is there a model engineering group near you to enquire
of?
