Plywood with lots of plies
I am looking for plywood around 10mm thick. Very strong, and with lots
of thin plies, rather than the usual stuff that has only a couple of plies each way. Any idea where to get this. It's to make a boomerang, btw. So, just a small sheet will do fine. |

That is 10 ply. You might find a decent selection of offcuts on Ebay at a not bad price. -- *I almost had a psychic girlfriend but she left me before we met * Dave Plowman London SW To e-mail, change noise into sound. |

Last time I did this, I got an offcut from somewhere, but the number of places with offcut bins is reducing. It never occurred to me to look on ebay for bits of wood. But, why not? |

How thick do you want it? |

About half the B&Q price with free postage. 48 hour delivery too. Unless you have a specialist woodwork shop nearby, you're more likely to get offcuts of what you want on Ebay than anywhere else. -- *Can fat people go skinny-dipping? Birch ply usually has more 'plys' than standard ply. |
