Default Router repair help ?

The slide on my Performance Power (B&Q) came loose and the footplate
fell off so need to access to try and fix.
I have loosened every screw I can find and I still cannot seperate the 2
halves of the body.
The only other thing I can see that can be holding it together is the
motor brushes, but they are difficult to access.
Any ideas on how to get the brushes out.
