Router repair help ?

The slide on my Performance Power (B&Q) came loose and the footplate
fell off so need to access to try and fix.
I have loosened every screw I can find and I still cannot seperate the 2
halves of the body.
The only other thing I can see that can be holding it together is the
motor brushes, but they are difficult to access.
Any ideas on how to get the brushes out.

Feeling slightly stupid now..............I gave it a tap with a hammer
and it all seperated rather easily!

Of course once I sort the problem there then comes the problem of
putting it all back together :-)
