Default Legrand electrical things

Today I got a message at work from partner. Pull cord switch for
bathroom light is broken.

Not the usual things like the cord unknotting, or the whole thing
falling off the ceiling. But a tiny bit of plastic, no more substantial
than a bit of uncooked spaghetti, that forms the bit that goes into the
switch. What utterly crap design.

Checking now it is down, it is Legrand brand. A make to keep well away from?

They made one of the quite pull switches.

But it's French and therefore it's ****e and it smells of garlic.

Mines a chrome dolphin.

No idea where it came from, it wasn't here when I moved out 16 years ago but
it was when I moved back in 7 years ago.

It's quite heavy, which stops people from 'pinging' it like a catapult

Heh. Have you considered applying for the lead position on Top Gear now
that irritating ginger **** has sloped off with his tail between his
legs*?

You might make a good replacement Clarkson, given your non-PC views.

* albeit 2 million quid better off despite ratings falling through the
floor. Talk about rewarding failure.
