Well - May has Thatcher's nose, whereas Leadsom has her hair.

Out of the two, I think the latter is actually trying to be Thatcher
visually, whereas the former perhaps is trying to orate more like the
Iron Lady.

Just my perception based on a couple of YT vids

Well...

She's not going to make any friends with that.

OTOH at least she has scored +100 on the "not a weasel" scale.

Pity she fibbed like **** about her employment, which is minus several
hundred weaselness.

As for gay marriage - I'm all for it. But I am surprised that a
politician actually dared to say what they really think...

Much more worrying is her desire to rush and sign Clause 50, which makes
me think that she does not understand all the implications.

I'm not so sure! The 'electorate' here includes a lot of Conservative
Party members in the shire counties - many of whom have rather more
traditional views than those of Cameron and his modernising liberal elite.

Why? They were doing as their shareholders' demanded. And within the
regulations current at the time.

So who would vote for a banker-turned-politician.

Someone who can add up? Why not?

I saw something that said she thought all these slurs on her CV were
nonsense, and she never had this kind of thing when she was an
astronaut...

But it is likely that quite a few of the Tory party
members who get to vote on who will be the PM do.

We hate bankers.

Bet it is quite a few of the Tory party members who are
the only ones who get a vote on who will be the PM.

The real bitch fight will be the Conservative woman PM and Ruth Davidson ganging up on the Sturgeon.

I hope the former wins, the latter reminds me of the similar views of an

Yeah, she should have kept her religion under her hat ... then again
I know little about the views of paid-up Conservative members regarding
sky faeries.

May will do, she has shown some balls Mckinnon and Hamza.
