The drive a bloke in his sixties and a woman about half that would then depart in the blokes car. They never entered the pub which annoyed of the publican as well as using his car park they returned about 1 am and woke him up with sound of the cars and there doors being shut as they left. After a few months of this the assembled bar committee came up with the wheeze to put an Advert in the local free ads paper. To the Drivers of Black BMW 123 XYZ and White Ford Escort 321 ZYZ who visit the Dog and Duck car park at small village every Thursday evening. It would be really nice if you came in and said hello. Around 10:45pm, two cars pull up and park. 3 or 4 Indian gents get out of the cars in distinctive clothing and skull caps. They all get into a third car which drives away. I am not sure what time they return, but all vehicles have gone by early morning. Is this something to do with Ramadan or other religious event? I do not know if there are other people nearby of the same persuasion, but they certainly don't live opposite. My wife reckons this is not "normal" behaviour and suspects some wrong doings! We are usually tucked up by the time they arrive, so doing the obvious and asking what they are about hasn't been convenient thus far. Any suggestions on this strange carry on? Phil FFS they are lift sharing, that is all. Lift sharing to go and do what?. See my other post. Maybe they're going to a secret booze up. :-) Three designated drivers? -- Adam |
