No not tried it but the effect is the desired on on that part of the

Cold probably wouldnt work very well if at all: once the blood
is in there, the rings stop it getting out.

grinder€, but also as €œpower cutter€, so we dont actually know
what they used.

I looked at a German report: they used an ice bag, a Dremel-like thing with a
flexible shaft, a Fein multimaster, and an assortment of pliers and cutters. And
they have a picture of the lady that did the cutting:

Indeed.

Which does then raise the question as to how he managed to get nos
2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10,11,12,13 on, in the first place.

Or put the other way, why whatever it is that allowed him to successively
fit nos 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10,11,12,13 no longer seems to be working
in reverse.
