A friend of mine is a maker and installer of stone panelling to kitchens,
bathrooms etc. I won't call him a mason but he does work with stone. He
produces some amazing stuff.
Talking with him last week. He had recently supplied the stone for a 28
sq.m. bathroom. Floors, walls and ceiling totally clad.

The bath cost £34k, the two basins £7k each (exc taps & fittings).
Cost of bathroom refurb- slightly S of £300k.
This same room was last refurbed less than two years ago at a cost of £1/4M.

Damned lunacy in my opinion. Talk about flushing money down the pan!
