OT hanging baskets

Seems that you need to be a professional gardener to get a reply out of them. I used some seed disks in my hanging baskets and was well pleased with the results. Is there any reason why these disks can't be used in small plant pots? Google has not been my friend here. No, you can't use the seed disks in plant pots, the seeds will know and refuse to germinate. The Aldi disks didn't work at all for me. Too early, too late? Dunno, I tend to buy bedding plants from the local market these days. You could do your own with kitchen towels, but spreading small seeds evenly is just too difficult for me Mine came from Aldi. I just read when to plant them, shoved them into the hanging baskets and they turned out dead good. |
