source for aluminium sections/parts to build a verandah
Seen these "installed" for vast sums.
Appears to be just toughened single glazing and standard ali sections powder coated & bolted together? Anyone done one? Or any pointers to the sources of suitable ali components? Posts, beams, rafters, spandrel brackets, er anything else? TIA Jim K |

I bought some 2" powder coated ally box section lengths a couple of years ago. 4 metre lengths were around £60. They were used for the uprights/crossmembers, galvanised brackets, inside the box section were used for bolting them together. Aluminium stockholders are the place to try.
