Default Ideal Icos HE18 Fan assembly replacement

We have a really loud revving or vibrating noise coming from the Fan assembly of our boiler. If you take the cover off there is also a slight electrical burning smell.

Is this fan assembly something that can be changed yourself or do you need a gas fitter as you have to disconnect the gas pipe from the injection housing (looked it up in the service manual)

Thanks

Jen

If you give Geoff a call at:

http://www.cetltd.com/

he will be able to do you a recon exchange fan and can probably talk you
through the process. Then you can decide if you are up to the job.

And because you're new here - Geoff comes highly recommended by a _lot_
of people.
