Default Gridwatch Nuclear OP?..


Bit OT but the Nuke output has risen quite a bit of late. A station
thats been off-line for sometime or a top secret new one somewhere?..

9.24 GW thats more then the CCGT output at present!. Sure TNP must
know?..

Looking at

there was a brief period when everything was running near nominal full output apart from the high cooling water temperature at Heysham - down a bit now because Hunterston B is on low-load refuelling and something tripped at Dungeness.
(There's a similar page somewhere giving status for the one remaining Magnox unit)

its just that all the stations are running flat out, having been fettled
serviced sand refuelled.

The 'links' button enables access to EDF and Magnox status reports.
