The Scout Hut - emergency light update
It turns out that the lead flashing has not yet been replaced. I know this
as it is ****ing it down and I have just called in to replace the emergency light. Water was dripping through the ceiling. A fat ******* had decided that if the emergency light in the kitchen was not replaced then the place would have to be closed down for safety reasons (not the info I received last week). I did point out that if I fit the light then the electrics will trip - and more to the point I cannot legally fit the light and power up the circuit. There is still a working non-maintained emergency light in the kitchen above the exit door and the place is IMHO safe and legal from an emergency lighting point of view. -- Adam |

Is it impossible to keep water off it with polythene? NT |
