Shelving wood...
Where's the best sort of place to get this, had a look in B&Q and it seems
very expensive for what it is. Looking at shelves at least 8-10in deep |

Softwood bull nose window board may be a bit thick (25mm or 32mm seems the choice) about GBP6/metre. I use 18mm blockboard. The last lot was veneered in Alder and finishes a bit like cheap Mahogany. Now that everyone has a router, cutting a fancy trim strip in hardwood for the front edge is simple. I would support across the full width at a minimum of 1m. regards -- Tim Lamb |
