would that be after getting it recertified by VOSA as roadworthy,
following the modifications?

Engine size: 2446cc - from a Rover V8.... maybe they confused it with a
Daimler 2.5l V8? Oh, but at least it has power steering.

Curious that the 2L diesel engine fitted as standard to the Hilux is
2446cc!

To be fair, I have a kit-car in the garage that since its last MOT has
done 2 miles and due to some work I have done, is now in better
condition than it was then. I have toyed with selling it, as with a wife
and three kids, I don't get any chance to use it now - but I'll probably
keep it.

If I were to decide to sell, it should sail through an MOT, but I'd have
to pay for insurance to get it to an MOT station; get it MOTd; and then
pay for tax so that people can test drive it. Some people may find the
minimum £280 cost unaffordable at the moment - especially if the reason
for selling is financial difficulties.
