As a London resident I'd buy you one* but for the fact I'm due in
Beccles next week to re-Sadolin MiL's windows (or as many as them as I
can in the time available). And yes, I do appreciate that this makes me
sound like (i) a Scotsman and/or (ii) a Yorkshireman.

*even at London prices

PS
How do you end up committed to doing a job in London without an address?
Is o/night accommodation provided - and warranted free from ........?

The owner of a firm I occasionally sub for phoned me up and asked "can
you....etc" and I never asked for an address, I just said yes.

I'll get more details in the morning - such as a location (it could be
anywhere inside the M25)

The trouble is I am supposed to be working in the day time.

Oh, it's *you* again!

Don't you have a newsreader that can quote properly?

The problem is that google groups (Owain's posting method) can't post
replies properly; so don't blame people who use newsreaders that DO
follow the rules.

Tuesday evening works for me now (better than Wednesday).

How ironic...

I think I saw notice of night closures starting in October when I
was going past yesterday (can't recall if just entry/exit slips,
or the main carriageway).

Have to say, they've done a very nice job widening from J16-21,
which is now finished.

In a very real sense you're never there, or at least not all of you is
there.

Well things change. I am in Grimsby in the morning and in London Tuesday
morning.

There cannot be much difference between the two can there?

Well the job is East Dulwich.

It looks like a 2 day one night stop.

If anyone in that area or nearby wants a pint I should be available Tuesday
evening.

I will be leaving early in the morning so please feel free to contact John
Rumm, TMH or Geoff for my mobile number if you need to.

I will check my emails at about 3.30am though.
