Front garden.
60 flagstones all 300 x 300 x 40 in Grey Edging of either bull nosed edging stones at 600mm long OR black/red/yellow (Whatever I can get hold of) block paving bricks Might possibly be used as a temporary car standing occasionally but more likely in the long term to be ornamental with a hole in the middle for a pot plant to sit in (Drainage etc etc) What would the group suggest as the best way of making them solid enough to withstand such use? |

To take a car means a sub base. The slabs are mere decoration. All the work is in the sub base. see www.pavingexpert.com |

You need 50mm paving and they have to be laid on a solid bed of sand and cement on top of 80 - 100mm of compacted MOT. Also, is the area large enough to fit a car on? 60 square feet is borderline unless you own a very smal car. |
