Default saw for fine work

i am fixing hardwood skirtings and in the internal corners i am profiling the
shape of the skirting so it mates with the adjacent piece,i have done a couple
ok but at a cost of loads of coping saw blades,is there an electrical
equivalent ,would a scroll saw work?,tia
