Eccentric coupling for boiler flow connection
Was looking up information on boiler kettling, and came across an old
forum with several posts that referred to boiler flow connections being made using an adapter, with an eccentric coupling. I've never heard of this and Google isn't illuminating - can anyone point me to what is being referred to? |

Eg 1/2" x 3/4" They are obtainable either concenric or eccentric. They are used tp prevent the formation od air bubbles in hot water systems or to allow total drain down. depending on which way up they are installed. They are also used in steam systems to prevnt condensate accumulations. You don't see them much used these days because few pipe fitters know what they are or where to use them. http://www.flowtech.co.uk/browse_product.aspx?
