Default concealed cistern height

I intend to fit Armitage Shanks Fluidmaster Concealed Cistern from
screwfix. Its a 6 litre with cable flush button. The supplied flush
pipe looks fairly short, to mount the thing maximum a couple of feet
above the toilet.
If I fit it a bit higher (almost like a high-level cistern), obviously
the water will enter the toilet bowl faster. Am I likely to get
problems with this, like water splashing out of the bowl etc ?
Toilet pan is a laufen back to wall pan.
Cheers,
Simon.

Wouldn't have thougt it wuld be a problem. Just make sure you have
good access for maintenance.

dunno maybe a test is in order? will also show if it's worth all the
extra agro?
I fitted a wall hung bog frame recently that measures only 0.82m from
floor to slightly above the top of the cistern (water level lower than
that of course) & it flushes just fine.

If you are after a "monster" flush, spose the physics is to with
terminal velocities of liquids? (he guessed ;)) i.e. how much faster
(if any) having it higher will make the water drop down the flush
pipe....

No problems, you will get a better flush than with a close coupled cistern.

maybe, but quantifying "better" and deciding whether its worth the
extra agro to arrange would still be the issue for me.

It was not to get a better flush, but to get the cistern out of the
way as it is being fitted
in the cupboard under the stairs.
However, have since decided to fit it at the maximum height determined
by the fitting diagram / supplied
flush pipe. Should still get a decent flush and reasonable access for
maintenance.
I'll build it into a cupboard / shelves of some sort and we can hang
the coats in front !
Cheers,
Simon.
