Default GE Minitrip

In the Tool Station catalog.

They have a GE made MCB. £3.76...
http://www.toolstation.com/shop/Elec.../sd2615/p43140

They also have a GE made minitrip. £6.63.

What is the difference.

I know an RCBO is a smaller RCD, bt what is a minitrip as opposed to
an MCB?

These fit in a modern consumer unit.
Screw terminals, fit mounting rails.

These have blades and replace fuse carriers in older consumer units.

Thanks. Tool station do not say that. That sounds a cheap way of
updating an old consumer unit.

Not overly useful though. You dont get better safety from them, and
you do get icnreased nuisance tripping..
