Default Plugtop electronic Transformer

I have an Ikea 12v halogen table lamp. It has a plug top power supply
which has died.

I thought it would be easy to locate a plugtop electronic transformer
to replace it, but I'm having problems.

Anyone know a source at a reasonable price?

TIA

I've bought replacement transformers from RS in the past. You might end
up having to solder on a new connector though.

You will need to know the current or wattage it needs, but take a look
at Maplin and CPC. If there is a dimmer control included in the PSU,
you will be struggling. It may not be an economic repair anyway, versus
a complete new light.
