Default Calor Gas Bottle (a bit OT)

I think the two bottles are not the same. I have a Camping Gaz 907 bottle
(6 lb) that has a right hand thread.

From what I remember Gaz had a female RH thread and had a ball valve.

Propane had and still has a female LH thread and an on off tap.

Calor butane used to have a male thread (I think) and an on/off tap, it
was replaced by the clip on regulator a while back.

Then there is patio gas which I believe has another clip on connector.

I have no idea what the new transparent(ish) ones are like.

My arrangement has a 90degree adaptor with a LH Threaded nut to fit the
Calor Bottle - at the other end is a RH Thread to accept a Gaz regulator
with on - off valve. I recall this arrangement was popular at the caravan
dealership I used as it enabled people to obtain Gaz when abroad without
changing regulators.
