For those who didn't manage to repair their current printer following
the recent laser printer thread.

If anyone has access to Makro, they have the Oki B410D Mono Laser
Printer going for £82.24 inc vat. At first glance it doesn't sound that
cheap but the going rate on the web for these is in the £130 range. It's
really a workgroup printer suitable for use up to 50k sheets a month but
the price brings it into the reach of home or SOHO use.

Starter cart is 1500 copies, replacement cart 50quid but lasts for 3500
copies. There is a high cap cart avail for this family at 60 quid which
does 7000 copies but I've still to check that it can be used on this
printer.

Oki's are pretty bombproof and can currently be registered for a 3yr
warranty.
