Bubbling noise in pipes from boiler
The boiler seems to have started making bubbling noises in the pipes
between it and the pump, etc. - the rest of the system is quiet. Is this an air lock (and wouldn't it escape) or is there another problem. -- John Alexander, Remove NOSPAM if replying by e-mail |

In this weather non-condensing boilers should have the boiler stat set high the highest to prevent condensation. |

I have tried it turned up full and turned to about half way - sounds the same. -- John Alexander, Remove NOSPAM if replying by e-mail |

If it's as loud, or louder, then it's probably the condensate drain that's frozen up. A kettle of boiling water over the pipe will probably sort it out. -- F |
