under felt eaves ventilation
Right, doing my extension roof soon. Under-felt vented cold roof with
over-fascia vents (no soffits), profiled concrete tiles. As I understand it the eaves venting components are fitted as follows: Fascia board (fixed to rafter ends). On top of the fascia board goes the over-fascia vent. Over the vent goes a felt support tray with the felt on top of it. Over this goes the comb filler to fill the profiled tile voids. But, how do you fix this without penetrating the felt ? And you surely can't nail through the comb, felt, felt support tray and over-fascia vents in order to fix it ? Can someone explain how this is done. Cheers, Simon. |
