Keston Boilers?
Just out of interest really, does anyone have any experience of these?
The Uni where I work 1 day a week has three accommodation blocks, each 4 storey. Each floor is divided into 2 'flats' each having 6 rooms & a communal kitchen. Each 'flat' has a Keston boiler, so there are 24 of them. They are located in the kitchens in securely locked cupboards. I had to go around the other day & check something else located in the same cupboards. On the inside of each door was a 'boiler fault log' sheet on which was recorded the dates & times the boiler has failed. These sheets were like war & peace, the boilers are tripping out every other day at least. I've heard the site manager muttering about 'bloody boilers' but never realised quite how bad things were. I thought modern boilers were pretty much reliable? -- Dave - The Medway Handyman www.medwayhandyman.co.uk |
