Cut-out and Isolator
Just for update/information.
I'm replacing a CU and I just called E-on to also arrange for a replacement Cut-Out (existing is metal clad) They were very helpful and informed me that this will be done FOC and someone will contact me to agree a suitable time. I then asked if they would connect the new Meter Tails from the CU into the Meter at the same time but they informed me that I would have to arrange this with "whoever I pay the bill to" so I then called Southeren Electric and again they were very helpful, informing me that they will send someone to install an isolator (which, by the way, was going to be my next question) between the Meter and the CU and then I could do what ever work was neccessary without having to trouble or involve them. We even agreed a date and time on the phone. So thankyou E-on and Southern Electric for just making things happen .... Andy |
